Van Morrison at the peak of his frst, astounding breakout as a great rock artist with a unique sound and vision: live on stage with a full band at the Passaic, New Jersey, Capitol Theatre in 1979.
The concert concludes a decade of amzing musical and poetic exploration – with looks back into Van’s 1960’s work – that saw the explosion of a new talent responsible for songs like “Brown Eyed Girl,” “Moondance,” “Tupelo Honey,” “Troubadours,” “Into The Mystic, “”Angeliou,” and many other powerful numbers heard in rousing live versions here.
The bands is horn-driven and swinging, with strong guitars, keyboards, and violin, as well as soulful backup singing.
